The Good Wool Shop - Wool crafts for kids

With summer holidays here at last, The Good Wool Shop has some new attractions to help keep the children occupied.

The Good Wool Zone at Formby Festival was such a success that from now till the end of the holidays there will be a regular "Fun on Fridays" drop in session, every Friday from 2pm - 3-30pm. Kids and their parents can try out wool crafts like felting, weaving and even making their own knitting needles! Each week there will be a different activity on offer. No need to pre-book, activities will usually last up to half an hour so you can join in any time during the session. There will be a small charge to cover materials.

The Good Wool Shop also stocks books, kits and equipment to help occupy children on wet August afternoons!

Open Monday - Saturday 10am - 4.30pm during July and August

Closed Monday and Tuesday 3rd and 4th August, and 1st September.
