The Circus is Coming to Town....

THE CIRCUS is arriving in Formby. Trapeze Artists, Clowns, Cartoon Animals and baby ponies are set to entertain crowds over five days. Jugglers, magicians, pirates and break dancers will also be a part of show.

The first performance of Mr Fips’ Wonder Circus starts at 5pm on Wednesday 20th May at the site next to the Red Squirrel Pub on Orrell Hill Lane, L38 5DA which is on the Formby bypass.

The circus has been organised by Jan Erik Brenner, aka Mr Fips, who has been a clown for the past 35 years.

Jan, who will also be performing, said: “There will be fun and comedy for the whole family.

“There will be traditional things like custard in the face and buckets of water, as well as cartoon animals and magicians.

“I like to encourage audience participation and would call the show more of a circus pantomime. It will be great fun for everyone.”

Performances will take place on

Wednesday 20th May at 5pm and 7:30pm

Thursday 21st at 7:30pm ONLY

Friday 22nd at 7:30pm ONLY

Saturday 23rd at 2pm and 5pm

Sunday 24th at 2pm and 5pm

Monday 25th at 2pm ONLY

All Seats on Wednesday are £5.99, first come first served, no reserved seats.

Box Offices opens at 10am on Tuesday 19th May on the site.
