'The Factory', Now known as 'Orchard Meadow'.....
This weekend is a show weekend for the new development by Bellway Homes - Orchard Meadow. This is the site of the old factory. The new address being; PARK ROAD, FORMBY, L37 6AD. The staff that welcomed us were very nice and polite and talked us through the different properties available whilst the children were kept amused with the reptiles that were on display for the kids to touch and learn about. We were actually told that the prices start from £199,000 but, looking on Bellways website, cannot find any that affordable saying the prices range from £242,995 for a 3 bedroom semi to a 4 bedroom detached at £314,000. The two show houses were beautifully furnished and champagne and nibbles in the kitchen was a great welcoming touch.
The show houses are open again tomorrow with a Hog Roast for all visitors to enjoy. We did however, find the large garden to be quite deceiving when we found out that it was actually two gardens but they had not yet divided them so it gave the impression of a larger garden for the properties.
