We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John Yabsley on August 24th

The family of John Yabsley is deeply saddened to announce his peaceful passing on August 24th at Locharwoods Care Home in Formby.

John was born and raised in Plymouth before relocating to Formby in the early 1970s with his beloved wife Jan and their three children. He spent many years working for The Royal Insurance in Liverpool and was an active member of the Formby Lions. In later years, John enjoyed being part of the Tintab Bowls Club and the U3A.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at 12pm on Friday, September 20th at Southport Crematorium. The family warmly invites all who knew John to join them for a reception at Formby Cricket Club following the service.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the support and comfort offered during this difficult time.
