Redgate Community Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed, talented and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join its successful and friendly nursery team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working with children under the age of three who is passionate about early years education and making a positive difference to young children’s lives.
Applicants must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.
This is a fixed term contract for one year in the first instance.

The successful candidate will:
Have a flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Have experience of working with children under the age of three.
Be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life.
Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Be able to think on their feet and use their initiative.
Be motivated, passionate and reflective in their practice.
Show a commitment to continuous professional development and be able to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, carers and families.

This post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, in accordance with safeguarding and relevant care legislation.
