Police Incident – Road Closure through Ince Woods.

We’ve just received reports of a road closure on Formby Bypass (A565) through Ince Woods due to an ongoing police incident.
Police are on site and the road is currently closed from Scaffold Lane, with traffic being diverted through Ince. Northbound traffic is heavily affected and currently backed up as far as Homer Green, with significant delays expected in the area.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible and allow extra time for their journeys while emergency services manage the situation.
