The National Trust has advised that its ranger team, alongside a group of dedicated regular volunteers, is working on the Lifeboat Road boardwalk today.
The team is repairing a short section of the boardwalk and clearing wind blown sand. This essential maintenance helps keep the much loved coastal route open and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Visitors may find sections of the boardwalk temporarily closed at times throughout the day while the work is taking place. Most people on foot should still be able to make their way around the works. However, access may be more limited at certain times for wheelchairs and buggies.
The National Trust has shared photos of the team already hard at work this morning.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while this important work is carried out.
