Met Office Issues Weather Warning as Storm Claudia Approaches Formby

The Met Office has issued a YELLOW weather warning for our area as Storm Claudia is expected to bring prolonged heavy rainfall and the risk of localised flooding across Formby and the surrounding areas.
The rain is forecast to start at midnight tonight (Thursday 13th November) and for rain to continue until 08:00am on SATURDAY 15th.
Wind speeds of up 26mph are also forecast.
Drivers should ensure they drive to the road conditions. Motorcyclists and cyclists should consider alternative transport where possible.
Localised flooding may cause further issues.
Pedestrians should be mindful of the risk of falling debris and poor visibility for drivers.
