Local Martial Arts Prodigy Erin Bannon to Represent Great Britain in Hong Kong
Local Martial Arts Prodigy Erin Bannon to Represent GB in Hong Kong.
Erin Bannon, a remarkable 14-year-old student from Formby High School, has achieved an extraordinary milestone last year by earning her 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo. Erin’s dedication and skill have earned her a spot on the Great Britain team for the prestigious International Poomsae Championships in Hong Kong from 30th November to 4th December this year.
Erin’s journey in Taekwondo began at the tender age of three. Over the years, she has demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment, progressing through the ranks to become one of the youngest 3rd degree black belts in the region. She trains daily with NTC Formby, where she not only hones her skills but also coaches younger children, serving as an inspiration and role model for them.
As Erin prepares to represent her country on the international stage, she is seeking support from both individuals and businesses. Sponsorship will help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and training, ensuring that Erin can focus on her performance and bring pride to her community and country.
