Liverpool Road closed in both directions with access via traffic signals through the night
Liverpool Road in Formby has got roadworks ongoing until 4th May.
The road is closed in both directions during the day but open with traffic signals from approximately 6pm each night.

Update on the Liverpool Road closure.
At the moment the closure is on between 9.30 AM and 3.30PM. 2 Way traffic lights at other times. Hopefully the closure will be taken off tonight, Friday 23rd, for the weekend if it all goes to plan.
United Utilities is responsible for the ongoing works.
