It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Formby resident, Austin Hayden

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Hayden, who passed away peacefully on the 15th of September 2024, at the age of 91.

Austin is survived by his beloved wife Jean, their two sons Richard and Matthew, and his four cherished grandchildren.

A proud resident of Formby for 25 years, Austin was a dedicated member of the U3A, where he shared his passion as a table tennis coach, and was also a valued member of The Viking Skiffle group.

The funeral service will take place at West Lancashire Crematorium on the 7th of October at 11:00 am. Family flowers only, please.

Donations in Austin’s memory may be made to the RNLI or the Epilepsy Society via Dean Bros Funeral Directors in Formby.
