Formby Bubble Is Looking for New Volunteer Admins

Formby Bubble is looking to expand its admin team to help support the continued growth and day to day running of the page.

This is an important role within the community, helping to keep the page safe, informative and running smoothly for the thousands of people who rely on it every day.

What the role involves:

• Monitoring comments to ensure they remain respectful and free from inappropriate content or external links

• Responding to and managing messages from the public

• Posting approved submissions and general community content

• Keeping an eye on activity across the page to maintain standards

• Identifying and sharing local stories where appropriate (some may also be considered for the website)

What we are looking for:

• A good understanding of Facebook and social media platforms

• Strong awareness of what is appropriate for a large public community page

• Reliable, trustworthy and able to act with professionalism at all times

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• A genuine interest in the Formby community

This is a voluntary role, however, a small monthly goodwill payment is made as a thank you, funded through advertising revenue.

Due to the volume of activity on Formby Bubble, we are looking to bring on more than one admin to share the workload.
