Fantastic results day celebrations at Range High School as Sixth Formers shine

There are huge celebrations at Range High School today as Sixth Form students mark a fantastic set of A Level and BTEC results, with some brilliant achievements across the board.

It is a wonderful day for students, families and staff at the Formby school, with years of hard work and dedication paying off as the Class of 2026 discover their results and prepare for an exciting new chapter.

And there is certainly plenty to celebrate!

Range High School has achieved an outstanding 99.25% overall A Level pass rate, while nearly half of all A Level passes were graded A to B*.

There have also been outstanding achievements across the school’s BTEC courses, adding to what has been a hugely successful results day.

Perhaps most exciting of all is where these results are taking the students next.

An incredible 85% of university applicants have secured a place on their first-choice degree course, while 92% will be heading to either their first or second-choice university.

For other students, exciting opportunities await through apprenticeships, employment and gap years as they begin the next stage of their lives.

It is a fantastic achievement for Range High School and a very proud day for Formby, with so many local young people now heading off to universities, apprenticeships and new adventures across the country.

The school has congratulated its Sixth Formers and wished every student the very best for September and beyond.
