Duke Street Park has finally got new bigger gates at the entrances

Duke Street Park in Formby has finally got some bigger gates at the entrances. The old gates were only small and were easy to jump over.

Cllr Nina Killen said: "Thankyou to all the team at Sefton Council for the new gates installed at Duke St Park. These replace smaller gates that had been easy to jump over. This led to some people hiding in the park after dark before jumping over the gates and causing disturbances such as broken windows at neighbouring properties."

"We hope the taller gates will lead to a reduction in antisocial behaviour in the area."

This will make a huge difference to residents in the area and hopefully will help with the amount of antisocial behaviour in this area too.
