Contact Left Limited in Formby is looking for a reliable, capable and experienced person to join its busy warehouse and order processing team.
This is more than simply a picking and packing role. The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, managing stock and helping to keep the warehouse organised and running efficiently.
The role includes:
• Processing customer orders using computer systems
• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Preparing and booking parcels for dispatch
• Updating and checking stock levels
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Replenishing and organising warehouse stock
• Identifying and correcting stock discrepancies
• General warehouse duties
• Regularly handling and moving boxes and stock
• Helping to ensure customer orders leave accurately and on time
Contact Left is looking for someone with good common sense and excellent attention to detail who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own work.
Applicants should have previous workplace experience, a good command of written and spoken English, good maths and numeracy skills and good computer skills.
Previous experience in warehousing, stock control, e commerce, retail, order processing or a similar role would be an advantage.
Applicants must be reliable, organised and able to work independently without constant supervision. The position also involves regularly handling and moving stock and boxes, so applicants must be able to carry out the physical requirements of the role, with reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
WORKING HOURS
• Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
• Thursday: 9am to 5pm
• Friday: 9am to 5pm
• Saturday: 9am to 1pm
• Sunday: 9am to 1pm
32 hours per week
Pay: National Minimum Wage applicable to the successful applicant.
This is intended to be a stable, long term position and would suit someone with solid workplace experience who takes pride in doing their job properly.
