An incredible week of sport for Woodlands School in Formby

It’s been an incredible week of sport for Woodlands School in #Formby, with pupils achieving fantastic results across several competitions.

Woodlands’ girls’ football team delivered an outstanding performance, securing a superb 8–2 victory and demonstrating excellent teamwork and determination on the pitch. Meanwhile, the Woodlands tag rugby team showed great skill and resilience as they went on to win gold at the prestigious North Sefton Tournament.

The success continued in cross country, where three talented Year 3/4 pupils from Woodlands finished in the top 10, highlighting the school’s strong commitment to sport and physical activity.

Well done to all the pupils who represented Woodlands School so proudly this week – a wonderful reflection of the school’s dedication to encouraging sporting excellence.
