Good morning on Wednesday 26th November. It is 2°C but feels like -2°C with a light breeze of 9mph in Formby. A beautiful frosty and icy morning it was today feeling really chilly with thickening cloud and rain this afternoon.

A dry and frosty start but any brightness short-lived with skies turning overcast. Occasional rain arriving by lunchtime and often damp through this afternoon with further periods of rain. Freshening southerly winds developing. Feeling chilly but temperatures rising later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight:
A wet evening and staying rather damp overnight with light rain at times. Foggy across the higher ground. Temperatures rising and becoming very mild by the morning. Southwesterly winds strengthening. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Thursday:
A generally cloudy and increasingly windy day with periods of rain at times. Some brighter intervals are possible later. Much milder than recent days but feeling unpleasant in the rain. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Staying changeable with showers or longer spells of rain. Drier and brighter periods are also likely, more especially over the weekend. Turning colder once again with overnight frosts possible.
