Sponsored Bike Ride with Formby Rotary Club

During the week beginning August 16th two members of the Rotary Club of Formby - Val Hignett and Bill Wright are celebrating the milestone birthday - 75 and 80 respectively, by undertaking a 100 Kilometers sponsored ride on their tandem.

They will starti and finish in Formby Village and follow a Circular route, which will take them through some of the villages of West Lancashire.

So if you see them give a cheery wave..

Val and Bill are undertaking their sponsored event for four charities St Joseph's Formby; Queenscourt; Woodlands and Jospice Crosby.
