Vacancy for a Welfare Assistant at Redgate Primary School

Redgate Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary Lunchtime Welfare Assistant who will ensure high standards of supervision during our lunchtime.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The hours will be 5 hours per week, Term Time Only, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The post will be for a fixed period up to the end of the summer term.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation. Therefore appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau and upon receipt of two satisfactory references being provided.
