The Catherine Victoria Academy Winter Charity concert raises £700 for Isabel

Students of the Catherine Victoria Academy based in Formby & Southport performed their annual winter concert at Emmanuel Church in Southport back in the month of December. It was an evening of piano and vocal performances from students as young as five years of age, as well as musical numbers from the academy's award winning choir 'Voice Your Voice'.

It was organised to raise money for Isabel Morison, mother of academy piano and singing student, Lucy, age 6. Isabel has been raising funds to pay for her ongoing treatment after being diagnosed with a primary glioblastoma, a grade 4 and the most fast growing and aggressive form of brain cancer, considered incurable.
