Local Chior performs Christmas show at Disneyland Paris

The award winning Voice Your Voice choir, based in Formby (also opening in Southport in the new year) took to the stage with Disney stars Mickey, Minnie & Goofy in an incredible show "Let's Sing Christmas". The show was the first of its kind where outside artists joined Disney artists on stage to produce a magical Christmas extravaganza.

The choir auditioned back in June 2018 and received the YES from Disney in August! After many rehearsals and fundraising events to get the choir to Paris, they took to the stage on November 24th and 25th to perform the show, not once but four times over the weekend! Earlier that week, ITV Granada Reports came to film the choir at their rehearsal studio and they sang LIVE on ITV!

Catherine (Voice Your Voice choir director): I am incredibly proud of the choir and their achievements this year; they won their 1st competition and performed in many local festivals and topped it all off with their Disneyland show. It was an absolute pleasure to return to Disneyland as I used to work there as a performer back in 2002! I am now looking forward to opening another venue in Southport, we already have lots of performances to look forward to in 2019. We are always looking for new members aged between 7 - 18 years and we will have venues in both Formby and Southport from 2019.
