Formby girl takes the Gold Medal for England in Slovenia gymnastics

Friday 19th October was a great day for Formby girl Olivia Williams and her England team mates who competed at the Salumunov Memorial competition in Slovenia.

Olivia is part of a team at the City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club who are very proud of her. Olivia Williams took the Gold medal for England on Floor routine.

A spokesperson from her club in Liverpool said: “Olivia helped the team to 2nd place and performed a beautiful floor routine to secure her a place in the floor final! Well done Olivia!”

“Olivia is a true fighter . She has had a long recovery from injury and operations and is an inspiration to all of the girls at the club. Well done Olivia and her coach Claire, we are so proud of you!”

Formby is also so proud of Olivia, well done!!
