Formby wanderers Runners up!!

Formby Wanderers FC completed their first pre season tournament entering the Rhys Jones FDL in Liverpool.

The Wanderers put in an outstanding display in testing temperatures and five quick games picking up one win, three draws and only a single loss was enough to qualify for the final which was a very close match ending in a 1-0 defeat.

Speaking to the Wanderers coach after the final he just wanted to say how proud of the boys he is 'They played brillantly, never out played by anyone and were unlucky to lose the two games they did and were the better team in the three draws.
