Only a few days left to buy a raffle ticket for this huge raffle with dozens of companies involved. Raffle is drawn on 30th June. Get your tickets from Elbow Lane Dental Care and help Vickie support this amazing cause!

After a road traffic accident on 31st October last year in Formby, Jamie Murphy spent months in hospital recovering. Jamie found out at the end of May that he will need yet another operation on his leg. His mum, Vickie is now raising money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Vickie and her family and friends climbed Snowden to raise money via a Just Giving page but also, Vickie has managed to get dozens of local companies to donate prizes for a raffle to help boost the fund raising. Vickie has already managed to smash her £500 target and the total keeps rising.

Vickie said: "Jamie was involved in a road traffic accident and suffered a type 2 fracture to his left distal tibia salter Harris. The care provided by the staff at Alder Hey was outstanding and I can't thank them enough for what they've done for us. Ben and I climbed Snowdon on the 4th June 2017 to raise money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital for everything they did for Jamie."

"I would love to raise as much money as I can for this amazing hospital. Please help by donating, even if it's a £1. I would also like to thank everybody for your support over the past 7 months, you don't know how much it helped get us through this horrendous time."

Vickie works at Elbow Lane Dental Care in Formby and they are also supporting her fund raising by donating £1 for Facebook Check-ins on their page. A spokesperson from the dental practice said: "Congratulations to Vickie for reaching her target of £500 and well done to Vickie and her family for climbing Snowden on 4th June. We would like to help her raise money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital where Jamie and his family received fantastic care and support after he was involved in a road traffic accident last year"

"Elbow Lane Dental Care will be donating £1 for every check-in and review on our Facebook page throughout June. Raffle tickets are available in our reception. There are 38 prizes from local busineses, raffle to be drawn 30th June. On behalf of us all, thankyou for your support."
