Marie Curie is counting on your cup Host a Blooming Great Tea Party this June

Marie Curie is calling on people of Runcorn and Widnes to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party in aid of the charity this June.

From 23rd - 25th June, Marie Curie is encouraging people to get together with friends, family or colleagues to host a tea party, bake sale or special tea break to raise funds. The money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and their families.

Chair of the Marie Curie Formby Fundraising Group Paige Baxter said: “Hosting a tea party for Marie Curie is a lovely way to get together with friends and neighbours, and catch up over a nice cuppa and slice of cake. What better way to enjoy a lovely sunny afternoon, and support the amazing work of Marie Curie at the same time.”

Our Formby Fundraising Group are planning our own Tea Party at Formby Tennis Club on Saturday 19 August, and would love to have some entertainment and face painting as part of the day, so if any local musicians or face painters would like to come along and play, we’d love to hear from you.”
