Hanging Basket sale raised over £350 for Formby Luncheon Club

Formby Luncheon Club held a Summer Hanging Basket Stall on Saturday 13th May to raise funds to help with the continuation of the service that they provide to our community.

All the baskets and planters were sold on the day, raising just over £355 for the Luncheon Club.

Spokesman, Keith from the Luncheon Club said: "We would like to thank all those who supported this fundraising appeal, which will go a long way to support the continuation of the Luncheon Club."

The stall was manned by members of the former Formby Lions Club.

This fundraising effort is particularly important to help with the continued survival of the Luncheon Club following the reduction of the grant from Sefton Council.
