Shared Reading Group – every Friday 12:30-2pm – enjoy a cup of tea and biscuit, relax and meet new people while reading out or listening to a poem or short story – join in the discussion. No charge – just turn up.
Diabetes Drop-in advice every Monday starting 9th January until March 2017.
Online Today Monday 23rd January 1:30-3:30pm – free IT session for the visually impaired – find out how technology such as smartphones and tablets can transform your daily life. Session is delivered by an expert from Action for Blind People. Contact the library to book a place.
Dementia Awareness Drop in day – Friday 27th January 10am-4pm. For advice and support for those with Dementia or family and friends of people with Dementia, The Alzheimer’s Society, Formby Project, Sefton Pensioners Advocacy Centre and others will be here to help.
Monthly Talk – February 14th 2pm – ‘The Lettuce Line’ by Keith Hicks – find out about West Lancs, Liverpool, Southport and Preston Junction Railways 1878-1964. Free event but contact the library to book a place.
IPad/Tablet courses, beginners and intermediate – five week courses delivered by Sefton Adult Education tutors, fee may be applicable, contact the library for more information.
