First Formby Scouts will not be holding a Bonfire and Fireworks Display this year.

For very many years the First Formby Scouts have held a bonfire party either in their grounds or for the past decade on the playing fields of the former Holy Trinity Primary School.

There is considerable building work in progress in the old school grounds and it is not possible for them to use the playing fields any longer.

Their own grounds are far too small for the number of people who have turned up to support them in the past, so reluctantly they will not be holding a bonfire or fireworks display this year.

They would like to thank the residents of Formby for their support at this event over very many years.
