Election results are in and Conservatives gain Harington Ward

Victory for the Conservatives as they gain Harington Ward with Michael Pitt gaining 50% of the votes over Alf Doran who gained 36% of the votes, winning by 458 votes. Pictured above the three Conservative Councillors, Cllr Simon Jamieson, Cllr Densie Dutton and Cllr Michael Pitt.

Nina Killen, who was formerly a councillor in Formby’s Harington ward, lost in Sudell to Maghull campaigner for the Independent party, Matt Gannon by just 24 votes.
