We can confirm that Argos is opening soon in our Bubble. It will be a 'Click and Collect' store which means that you can order online and pick up in store.
Argos is a British Catalogue retailer which operates in the UK and Ireland. Argos has 737 stores and has 340 million website visits a year. It is one of the largest high street retailers online in the United Kingdom. In August 2013, it was estimated that 96% of the population of the UK was within 10 miles of an Argos branch.
Argos in Formby will be opening inside the Homebase over the bypass.

Argos is to open concessions in Homebase stores. The catalogue retailer is to open stores in 20 Homebase sites across the UK including one in our Bubble. The sites are designed to be locations where customers can collect online orders.
Argos and Homebase are owned by Home Retail Group, which unveiled the plans for the new stores as it reported annual results.
Argos, which makes around 70pc of group revenue, has committed £300m over the next three years to a turnaround programme. This includes installing fast-track click-and-collect points in stores and replacing its famous laminate catalogue with tablet computers.
The company has trialled six new-look “digital concept stores” that Argos wants to develop into its standard shop across the country. Another 25 will be opened this year after “encouraging” feedback from shoppers.
In addition, Argos is planning to introduce a smaller version of its traditional catalogue.
The strategy for Argos was drawn up while Mr Walden was managing director of the retailer and Mr Duddy was chief executive.
Mr Walden said he may look to tweak Home Retail’s strategy and intends to “diagnose the current group strategy and structure, and consider priorities going forward”.
This could include considering a sales of Homebase. “A lot of options are possible,” Mr Walden said.
