Competition to design/illustrate a new book cover....

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll will be celebrating it’s 150 year birthday in 2015. To mark this, Formby Library will be holding a competition to design/illustrate a new book cover for the text. Competition closes on 31st January so not much time left to enter. The competition will be open to everyone and will be judged in two age categories: 4-7 and 8 and over. This can be anything from a sketch to a 3D collage and we are looking for the most imaginative design in each age category. The competition will open on the 19th December and close on the 31st of January. The winners of each category will be notified on the 6th of February 2015 and invited to a Mad Hatters tea party, where they will receive a £10 Love2shop gift token and see their pictures prominently displayed. Tickets for the Mad Hatter’s tea party to be held on the 20th February (half term) and can be purchased from Formby Library from the 6th February and will be £2 on a first come first served basis, call in at the library for further details.
