Two Houses Shot at in Netherton last night.....

Two houses were shot at in Netherton as children slept inside.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the homes in Netherton were shot at around 10.30pm last night. The downstairs windows of the homes in Broad Hey were damaged by gun fire. A man and woman were inside and upstairs, two children slept.

Police are treating the incident as a targeted attack and are appealing for anyone who witnessed a male described as wearing dark clothing and had a facial covering acting suspiciously in the Broad Hey area to contact them. More to follow later.
