Formby District Scouts - Has provided continuous and active Scouting since 1909. There are six Scout groups in Formby with a total of 321 Youth members and 70 Adult members. Formby is an Ideal place for Scouts offering plenty of fun, adventure, environmental studies and Scouting with our pine woods, sandhills, and miles of beach. We are also close to Southport and Crosby lakes for all water activities. Scouting helps you build good relationships and life long friendships. Scouting gives our children the opportunity to experience the outdoors first hand, interact with others and to gain confidence giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
