Hospice hosts Summer Garden Party and Teddy Bear Parade
The St. Joseph’s Hospice Summer Garden Party will be back this weekend after a two year break due to the pandemic.
It will be a fun day for the whole family and will take place in the hospice’s beautiful woodland gardens in Thornton, near Crosby, from 12pm to 4.30pm on Saturday 9th July.
The hospice’s fundraising team is looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the hospice gardens and will be making every effort to make sure this year’s Garden Party raises much-needed funds for the hospice.
There will be fabulous market stalls, face painting and a kids corner, as well as the much-loved Teddy Bear Parade, a hospice tradition enjoyed by generations of local families.
There will also be a range of food and drink stalls, including an ice cream van, and a BBQ. There will also be entertainment throughout the afternoon from the MADUkes and some Morris Dancing.
The event will be free to attend and you can just turn up on the day but the hospice is asking local families to make every effort to come along and support the charity, which gives compassionate end of life nursing care to local people and their families.
