National Trust is expected to be very busy this Easter holidays

National Trust Formby is expected to be very busy over the Easter Bank Holiday. There is limited parking at Formby and queuing time can often be long until places become available.

Lifeboat Road parking is also available as well as the Squirrel Reserve but please leave your car at home and get the train to walk in if possible. Good Friday was completely full by 12 noon with exceptionally long queues. Previous bank holidays have seen long traffic queues, sometimes backing up all the way to the Formby bypass and have created a number of headaches for local residents. Please respect residents property and refrain from blocking driveways. Visitors are strongly advised to help by using public transport this weekend or by visiting on a day when it’s less busy. Anyone that does visit our beautiful beaches and pinewoods, please remember to take your rubbish home with you.
