Police appeal for witnesses after a collision in Formby Village today

Merseyside Police were called at about 2.55pm to a report of a collision on Chapel Lane in Formby today (Thursday 11 April 2019). A red Nissan Micra car was in collision with a woman pedestrian in her 80s who sustained a minor leg injury. North West Ambulance Service have attended to treat the woman. The driver of the Nissan car stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries into the incident.
