Formby Junior Sports Club now in it's 59th year will be starting new season in September
Formby Junior Sports Club, an FA Charter Standard Development Club now in its 59th year will be starting its new football season in September.
A new Reception and Year One group will be starting one week earlier than the rest of the Inter Club Section on Saturday 1ST September at Deansgate Lane Playing Fields from 9am until 10am.
All Reception and Year One sessions will include coaching and small- sided games with the aim of developing skills so that the children can enjoy the great game of football.
As the season progresses interested parents wishing to become coaches will be given the opportunity to attend FA Coaching courses at the club’s expense.
When these children reach Year 2 they will be able to represent FJSC as Under 7 teams in local leagues if they wish, as well as playing Saturday Inter Club football which will continue until the age of fourteen.
Parents are asked to go to the club’s website if they would like us to place their child on the Reception and Year One list. We can then send you more details nearer to the start of the season.

Inter Club football for other age groups will begin again on Saturday 8TH September at the following times:-
Year 3 Boys 9- 10am
Year 4 Boys 9-10am
Year 5 Boys 10-11am
Year 6 and Year 7 Boys – 10-11am
Year 8 Boys 10-11am
Year 1 and Year 2 Girls 11-12 noon
Year 3 and Year 4 Girls 11-12 noon
Year 4 and Year 5 Girls 11-12noon
Year 6 and Year 7 Girls 11-12noon
Year 8 Girls 11-12 noon
Girls in Year 9, Year10 and Year 11 are also invited to attend between 11-12noon.
There will be coaching sessions from 10-11am for those girls wishing to attend before Inter Club games at 11am. Coaching sessions for boys age groups will be announced later.
New members in all boys and girls Inter Club age groups are most welcome.

Details about the club’s exciting year ahead including FJSC’s 60th Birthday and 60th Year Celebrations will follow in the next few weeks.
We want to make the 2018-2019 season a very special year at Formby Junior Sports Club so present members and their parents are asked to spread the word about joining FJSC to friends and to tell everyone about what this great club has to offer the youngsters of Formby and surrounding districts.
