National Trust Formby give information for Horse Riders this Easter
Please take note of the following information if you are planning a trip to National Trust Formby this weekend;
There are very high tides over the Easter weekend.
Good Friday 30th March - 11.18am Saturday 31st - 12.01pm on Easter Sunday 1st April - 12.41pm on Easter Monday 2nd April - 1.18pm. For approximately two hours either side of these times, there will only be a narrow strip of beach available.
A spokesperson for National Trust Formby said: "We predict that there will be a large number of people visiting the site this weekend, many of which will also be using the beach. Therefore we recommend that if you are planning a ride on the beach at Formby this Easter that you plan your ride outside of these high tide periods in order to ensure that you have a safer and more enjoyable ride."
"It is also worth noting that horse box parking is only available at the National Trust car park at Lifeboat Road and this parking is limited especially during busy periods."
