Retail Shop Manager in Formby Shop
We are looking to recruit a Shop Manager for our Formby shop in Merseyside. By working in one of our retail shops you will be responsible for generating maximum profits through excellent customer service and shop management, and through effective volunteer recruitment. You will work closely with volunteers to train, develop and motivate them to ensure effective operation of the shop.
Responsibilities also include effectively managing the sourcing, sorting, pricing, merchandising and display of donated goods to ensure the shop achieves budgets, and implementing promotions to optimise sales and raise the profile of the shop in the local area. You will need to be a strong communicator and an effective organiser with a passion for delivering great customer service.

Hours: 30 per week - worked as agreed, Monday to Sunday 9.30am to 5.00pm
Salary: £8.50 per hour

St Joseph's Hospice is one of the oldest hospices in the country, founded in 1962 initially to support hospice work overseas. Our UK service opened in Thornton in 1974 and now each year we provide care and support to over 200 people with life limiting conditions from within the West Lancashire, Sefton, Liverpool and Knowsley areas. The hospice has 29 patient rooms providing high quality palliative, end of life and long term care and is situated in 12 acres of beautiful woodland.
