Snooker results for Formby
The latest round of league fixtures saw Northern Club at home for the first time and the tables were very much to the liking of Shaun Catterall who recorded the season’s highest break so far (48).
It was a good night for Shaun’s Formby SSC C team who ran out 5-1 winners.
There was however some optimism for Northern with John Kenny clinching their first point and Peter Perdue narrowly losing out to George Howells.
Our Ladys A also won 5-1 in the Guild Hall derby. Dean Wheeler was the sole victor for the B side whilst G Russell (28) and Jon Mycek Jnr (25) impressed for the A team.
St Mary’s Comrades and Conservative Club B look well matched on paper and their 3-3 draw reflected this, both Graham Clark and Richard Bell performing well.
The top two title contenders Crosby Village SC and Crosby Comrades both won 6-0 at Formby SSC A and B respectively.
