A large skip fire in Formby

A large skip fire on West Lane.

A skip is on fire down West Lane that belongs to Clarence House School. The Fire Brigade are in attendance. The fire is next to the electric sub- station but, is now under control. The thick black smoke could be seen across Formby.

Clarence House were cleaning out the apartments and using the skips for the rubbish opposite the school. One Fire appliance attended the scene and the fire was put out and the area made safe.
