The IT Support engineer will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to the IT Manager. The position is responsible for supporting and maintaining windows based server and client operating systems and general maintenance of all IT related hardware/software. The successful candidate will have: Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability Excellent organisational skills including the ability to deal with conflicting demands in order to meet deadlines Ability to prioritise workloads and a willingness to work flexibly Sound understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, switching, routing, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and security The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT related projects and activities.

Salary: £18,000
