These are the eight buildings in Merseyside that have been shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA North West awards including House in Formby designed by shedkm architects.
The Royal Institute of British Architecture has revealed a shortlist of 15 new regional projects in the running for next year’s Stirling Prize.
Having shortlisted from 40 entries, over the coming weeks the RIBA judging panel will be visiting a range of high quality buildings right across the north west region.
As well as the prestigious Building of the Year Award, which was picked up last time by the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, the shortlist will also produce a Small Project of the Year Award for those projects costing less than £500,000.

The project was built as a temporary cancer care centre at Clatterbridge Hospital in Merseyside, commissioned and operated by Maggie’s Cancer Care Trust.
