Halloween Instead Of Christmas? Nooooo......

Has the Town gone mad? According to Southport GB, this year Southport will not have a Christmas Lights switch on parade. Instead a huge effort is going into having a Halloween Parade. A town centre trader said "Thanks to the Southport BID which basically skims money off the rates of businesses in the town this years Christmas Lights Parade will not take place. Instead we are having a week long Spookport in its place. Surley Christmas is more important than Halloween?" Apparently this years Christmas Lights Switch on will take place outside the Scarisbrick Hotel on 22nd November.
