Jenny on her bike for rescue centre
A CHARITY cycle challenge has helped raise much needed funds for Freshfield Animal Rescue centre. Jenny Poole from Formby went the extra mile for the rescue centre, completing a gruelling 64 mile cycle ride throughout Anglesey. Jenny said: “I decided to put myself forward for the 64 mile bike ride with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. ”I have seen first hand what wonderful work they do and in order to carry on helping these animals they need more funds. “I got my own little cat, Marvin from them. Freshfields named him Marvin because when they rescued him off the streets he was starving. ”He had a broken jaw and alopecia from stress. They gave him much needed care that was quite expensive and then I adopted him.“
