Formby Emergency Help List for the vulnerable and disabled throughout the Coronavirus outbreak

Formby Bubble has comprised a list of people who might be able to help the disabled and vulnerable throughout this unprecedented state of emergency caused by the Coronavirus.

This list will be updated on a daily basis. If you would like to be added to the list, please email your details and what you will be able to do to help along with the area that you are offering help in.

We will also require your address details for security reasons but this will not be posted on the list and will remain confidential.Email details to: info@formbybubble.com

Sefton CVS

Here is a link to the Sefton CVS Home page for people to register as volunteers. They are trying to coordinate volunteers from a central point and make sure they are vetted as they will be dealing with vulnerable people.

Hi, I live in the Formby area and work in Aldi Supermarket. If any elderly or struggling parents are needing any help in grocery's, nappy's, milk etc. rather than just trying to panic buy, contact me with your shopping list and address and I can try and purchase and drop them off when I finish work or have a day off. I will keep all the receipts as proof of purchase and can sort out either a cash or bank transfer payment just for the items bought!

As the schools have shut and I am self employed I have no income at the moment and don’t know how long for I feel so helpless and don’t know what to do.

As I’m self-employed and all my classes are now being stopped each day due to venues closing, I am now offering child care from peoples homes for parents who are still required to attend work - I drive so I am accessible to get to families who would benefit from me coming to their homes - I am fully dbs checked and insured. I have 10 years experience working with babies, children, vulnerable children and teenagers. I am educated to degree level as well as a teaching degree and work in and out of schools around Merseyside. I can do all school work with children as well as cooking meals etc.
