Formby's VOICE YOUR VOICE youth choir sings to millions and become multi award winners!

Catherine Victoria, choir director of the multi award winning Formby youth choir VOICE YOUR VOICE would like to thank the 3000 people who voted for the choir to sing at the National Entertainment Awards in London alongside some of the top entertainment acts from around the UK!

Members of Formby's multi-award winning VOICE YOUR VOICE youth choir were nominated to perform after achieving outstanding results over the last year and the phenomenal amount of votes received means they will be performing live at the event in December 2019!

VYV CHOIR - WINNING PERFORMANCE AT CHOIR COMPETITION

The youth choir sang at the Netball World Cup opening ceremony in July 2019 to thousands at the M&S Arena in Liverpool and to an approximate 25 million via Sky Sports TV! The following day they were crowned OVERALL WINNERS at Liverpool's choir competition against eight other strong choirs making them a multi-award winning choir! The choir then went on to hit the main stage at LIMF (Liverpool International Music Festival) at Sefton Park. This concluded a wonderful academic year for the choir who can add these achievements to their previous performances live on ITV and on stage at Disneyland Paris.

VYV CHOIR READY TO PERFORM AT THE NETBALL WORLD CUP OPENING CEREMONY!

The choir rehearses every Tuesday during term time from 6pm - 7pm at the Formby Methodist Church Hall. "We are always looking for new members to join us, boys and girls aged 7 - 18 years are more than welcome to pop along for a free taster session to see if they would like to become a member. There are no auditions, they just want children who love to sing!".

Their next local performance will be at the Christmas launch night at Lady Green Garden Centre in October and we will soon be returning to Disneyland Paris to perform again in 2020!
