Hugh McAuley’s children’s summer football camps In Formby
This summer, children in Formby will once again be able to learn from one of football’s most experienced coaches, Hugh McAuley. Former Liverpool FC Youth and Reserve Team coach Hugh McAuley’s football academy will run two camps at Redgate Primary School during the summer holidays. Each camp, aimed at girls and boys of all ages, will include a broad range of activities designed to help young people to learn and develop new skills and techniques in a fun, inclusive and rewarding atmosphere. Children will face a series of challenging and enjoyable skill sessions, small-sided games, and tournaments with potential for Premiership Club trials. Hugh McAuley said: “Our team of experienced coaches are skilled at coaching players at different levels. Since setting up the academy in 2011, we have seen many of our young players go on to sign for youth academies, including Liverpool FC, Blackpool FC, Preston North End FC and Blackburn Rovers FC, we’re proud to be a part of developing the next generation of local footballing talent.” First camp will take place 29th July – 1st August
