Dodger desperately needs a Home

Dodger is a 4 year old lurcher who’s been at Freshfields since February 2016. He was brought to us via a vet; he was due to be put to sleep as his owners could no longer care for him. Very nervous initially, it took us a while to make friends with him – he came out of his shell with a little help from some doggy biscuits and a ball!

He is now such a happy lad, and enjoys tearing around our field playing and having cuddles! He can still be a bit nervous upon meeting strangers so any potential home will have to meet him several times before adoption. He needs an adult only home, with stability and a settled family that can commit to him forever.

He is not good with other animals. Please don't let this put you off him! He just needs walks at quiet times or quiet places. If you are lucky enough to adopt Dodger you won't be disappointed! He is gorgeous and will be such a loving, loyal boy with plenty of character to entertain you!
