Outdoor Cinema - Grease is the Film at King's Gardens

Anyone who is hopelessly devoted to the classic musical "Grease" is invited to a special outdoor sing along screening at Southport’s King’s Gardens on Wednesday 12 August.
If this sounds like the one that you want, then come along to King's Gardens where the film will start at sunset (around 9.15pm) and admission is free; however a donation of £2 per person to the Friends of King’s Gardens will help to support future film screenings. T Birds and Pink Ladies are welcome to come along in fancy dress, with prizes for the best costumes.
Tell me more? "Grease" will be shown in the Community Garden (opposite the Royal Clifton Hotel). No seating is available, so those attending are advised to wrap up warm and perhaps bring along something to sit on. Food and drink will be on sale in the gardens, or film goers can bring their own picnics. For further information on the screening, please contact Sefton Council's Parks Team on 0151 934 2421. You can also keep up to date with future events by visiting www.kingsgardens.sefton.gov.uk
Last year's event proved popular with film lovers who watched big films such as Mamma Mia and Disney's UP.

Last year, hundreds turned out to the community gardens for the cinema's debut to watch Mamma Mia.
No seating is available so cinema lovers are advised to bring blankets and wrap up warm.
Food and drink will be on sale.
